Use QR codes and printed badges to collect data and improve the attendee experience for your in-person events.
1. What are QR codes?
Users receive QR codes attached to their registration confirmation emails. Use a device linked to a QR check-in point to scan attendee QR codes and collect their entry, exit, session attendance, and booth visiting data at in-person events.
<attention>To be issued a QR code, users must register via a method that has QR codes enabled. See section 4 below for details.</attention>
2. What are Badges?
EventHub's default badges shown below include a participant's unique QR code and basic personal information. These can be accessed for each user via the [User list].
When printed on A4 size paper, you can fold in fourths along the dotted lines and insert the folded badge into an A6 size badge holder.
3. Displayed Information

| User type / Content group | Select via the [Basic settings]>[Badges]>[Type/Group displayed on badge] setting. - User type: “Attendee” or “Exhibitor” - Content group: the user's [Content group] name (specified by the user’s ticket) |
| Name | The user's last name and first name |
| Company or affiliation | The user's company or affiliation, if collected and set to publish the information via [Basic settings]>[Profiles] |
| Department | The user's department, if collected and set to publish the information via [Basic settings]>[Profiles] |
4. Generating QR Codes
User QR codes are generated upon completing registration and are sent via the registration confirmation emails.

5. Additional Notes
- Default badge layouts, font sizes, etc. cannot be customized. See the following article for additional information on our custom badging option: Custom Badging
- Setting the [Publish information?] field to [Hide] for the "Company or affiliation" and "Department" profile fields will hide them from the default badges.
- When displaying content groups on the badge, long content group names may be cut off with an ellipsis [･･･].
