You can delete profile fields from the event management page’s [Basic settings]>[Profiles] tab. We recommend reading through this page before deleting a profile field, as deleting a field also deletes any participant information collected for that field.
1. How to Delete a Profile Field
Navigate to the event management page’s [Basic settings]>[Profiles] tab, and click the trash can icon for the field you want to delete.
You cannot delete default fields that have grayed-out trash can icons. See the following article for reference: Editing Default Profile Fields
2. Additional Notes
- You can view data collected from the profile fields via the attendee and exhibitor [User List] tabs. Deleting a profile field will also delete its registered data from the corresponding [User List].
- Deleted profile field data is unavailable in the file accessible via [User List]>[Download Excel].
- If you have implemented event registration via API-based integration, deleting a profile field may result in an error during registration. Confirm the configuration with your integrated marketing tools before deleting any fields.
